  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch, divided
  • 1 pound flank steak, cut into thin i-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup depression sodium soy sauce
  • iii Tablespoons packed low-cal dark-brown sugar
  • i Tablespoon minced garlic
  • two teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 4 cups pocket-sized broccoli florets
  • i/2 cup sliced white onions
  • In a large basin, whisk together 2 tablespoons cornstarch with three tablespoons water. Add the beef to the bowl and toss to combine.

  • In a split up pocket-size basin, whisk together the remaining one tablespoon cornstarch with the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and ginger. Gear up the sauce bated.

  • Heat a large nonstick sauté pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil and once information technology is hot, add the beef and cook, stirring constantly until the beefiness is almost cooked through. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the beefiness to a plate and set it aside.

Kelly's Notes:
